The Instituto Cervantes is the public institution created by Spain in 1991 for the promotion and the teaching of the Spanish language and for the dissemination of Spanish and Spanish-American culture. You can find your nearest Instituto Cervantes center on the Instituto Cervantes in the world website Associate Centres Network The Network of Associate Centres is a large web of Spanish language schools, both public and private, whose quality has been explicitly acknowledged by the Instituto Cervantes, once they have received a positive quality report in the different areas of their activity. Nearly 100 centres located in America, Europe and Asia are part of this network. There may be an Associate Centre near you. Look up the Associate Centres Network website. DELE Examination centres You can have your level of Spanish officially certified through the Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreing Language (DELE), which are issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry for Education of Spain. You can take the tests in over 500 examination centres located in more than 100 countries.
